Join us for the 2025 Memorial Day Murph

Picture

Sponsored by Renewal by Andersen, Chorzepa Construction, Phases Acupuncture, Absolute Entertainment, A1 Roofing, and Bulovas Restorations Inc.!

In partnership with Redwoods Fitness each Memorial Day, we honor fallen Navy Seal and Medal of Honor Recipient, Lieutenant Michael Murphy, and all those who have served our country, with our annual MURPH Challenge. Proceeds from the event benefit the
LT Michael P. Murphy Memorial Scholarship Foundation. More than just a workout, MURPH is held worldwide with thousands of participants testing their physical, mental, and emotional endurance. The challenge comprises a one mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 squats, and a final one mile run. Our family-friendly event includes the traditional workout, but offers individuals of all ages the opportunity to try different variations of MURPH and other fitness activities that suit their lifestyle. This community event brings together our local elected officials, local law enforcement, food trucks, and health and wellness vendors. Thanks to Boy Scout Troop 1776 of Mount Sinai, the Parade of Flags fly high on Memorial Day and are on display for all to pay tribute.
